International Business Comes to Uckfield

A recent two-day training programme held by world-renowned Scarecrow Bio-acoustic Systems Ltd, based in Uckfield, attracted delegates from as far away as Brazil. Held at the newly refurbished Wealden Skills Centre in the Bellbrook Business Park in Uckfield, the 20 plus delegates from Spain, Italy, Portugal and Lithuania, Latvia and Brazil, learnt the benefits of new technological advances in humane bird dispersal.

Scarecrow is no stranger to international relations! 

Working in no less than 23 countries, Scarecrow has been providing its bird dispersal products worldwide for the last 20 years. Recently there has been a whirlwind of successes as Scarecrow has broken into new territories such as India, Dubai and more recently New Zealand, where its latest and most advanced technology to date, Ultima, has just been installed at Christchurch Airport. Scarecrow's professional training sessions are attended by Industry novices and experts alike, from a range of Industries such as Aviation, Maritime, Municipal and Urban. 

The seminars, held twice yearly, cover topics such as integrated bird management, aircraft bird strike avoidance, fully automatic fixed installations and, importantly, the fundamentals of bird behaviour.
